Lauren has been cast as the lead in the CW pilot "Heavenly" it's about a fallen angel who is a lawyer...or works with a lawyer? She's the 'human' of the duo. Rumours have it being a wonderful match to SPN next season to take Smallvilles spot.

I'm really happy for Lauren and I hope they show will be picked up. She's great and she deserves to have her own project

Re Katie and Lauren - they got so much hatred that it was just unbelievable. Funny thing is, when they got killed, the girls who came in later seasons were hated even more, and many people said they'd rather Lauren and katie stayed instead

Well I liked them both...I didn't like Ruby, but I liked Katie (didn' like Gen's portrayl of Ruby either) ...but loved Lauren and Bela, I really wish Bela would have stayed. Her and Dean would have been great together.

I'm excited that she's been casted in a lead role, I love Bela a lot and I love Lauren, she is very talented.

But I can't help but groan and cringe at what this new pilot is about, I mean, seriously, it just sounds like a rip-off of Boston Legal combined with Touched By An Angel.....and it doesn't help that the show-runner also was a SPN co-producer, so could the whole angels thing be anymore obvious?

I love that she's got a lead role, she deserves it, but I'm not sure this show will be doing her any good.....

If nothing to ride on the coattails of SPN's successful angels portrayals...but I'm not sure if people will just be more pissed or like it...

One of the news bits I read about it, actually said 'think Castiel as a lawyer' and I was like WTF?!

Well with a name like Dashiel Coffee.....people have been speculating that this is some bad joking attempt at making a love child of Dean and Cas...or other people think this is Bela's way of poking fun at Dean....

Personally, this is such an obvious attempt to rip off Cas that it's not even funny anymore....

I think Lauren deserves better than a Castiel/SPN-ripoff. I'd rather have Bela pop back from whatever she disappeared off to and share the screen with Cas.

that's great! good for her! sucks that she seems stuck in the CW paws but work is work! hope it gets picked up

lauren is also currently on chuck she's been in 2 episodes. don't know if she'll be in more
