I mean obviously being at the roadhouse full time gave him access to it, but I guess he started hanging out there because he knew of it to begin with, right?

Well on Jo's blog entries it was mentioned that he just showed up and started hanging out. Sounds pretty Ash-ish...
My guess is he heard about the roadhouse from someone and decided to check it out, liked it enough and stuck around.

What I want to know is how he got involved in the first place....

Well I don't think that Ash claiming he believed the supernatural things existed would be enough to get him kicked out of school.
But it might be interesting if those beliefs of his kinda tied into the fighting insident.

I don't think it needed to be that massive is faculty was involved.

Boy am I curious about these two things (the getting involved with the world and the getting kicked out of school) and if they are in any way connected.
