Maybe the British Men of Letters will go the way of the Watchers Council on BtVS. They got hunted into extinction by a Big Bad and what was left was taken over by Buffy and co.

I'd like to think they have learned their lesson and we will never have to deal with them again. It's a storyline that had potential but ended up being an epic fail.
