8x20 "Pac-Man Fever" Episode Discussion
Pac-Man Fever April 24th 2013 The CW DEAN INTRODUCES CHARLIE TO CHEAP PANTSUITS — Concerned about the physical toll the second trial took on Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) benches his brother from hunting until he heals up. So, when geektastic hacker Charlie (guest star Felicia Day) stumbles upon a case and finds the boys, Dean decides it's time to teach Charlie how to be a hunter-in-training. I don't care for filler episodes this close to the season finale, but seeing Dean in a costume is always fun...so I'm looking forward to it.

I thought this was a pretty good episode.
I actually like Charlie. I hope she she is around more in season 9. Who knows the boys may need her to hack something.  Dean in that old time uniforum=  town.I hate what is happening to Sam though  Why does him having to be the person to close the gates of hell mean he gets weak and disoriented? I don't like it  I did love the hug at the end between the boys. I miss those moments.__________________

I think Charlie is the only girl character in the show I don’t mind. Dean? Doctor coat? What? Army? He’s so confused! Lots of dead bodies? Growling? Sam! I feel bad for him!
they can’t find Kevin! Poor Sam! Email from Charlie? No one can track them! A new crazy case! The Supernatural books!! That is my favorite episode! Yay for Dean in a suit!  gotta love Charlie! They don’t need Castiel! Sam really wants to go hunting! They can’t see the body? Dean trying to charm her….not working! Omg! That’s really gross! Sam! of course! Handprint? “home” that’s almost cute! ok…it is adorable! The coroner? Empty? They got out of there quick!! “I hate that thing….and I want one”  at the pie for Dean! They know something is off about Charlie! Omg! The coroner lady!! Poor Sam going to find Charlie? Lots of identities? Donating to a charity? is that Charlie’s mother? Omg! “Taste of fear?” interesting! Omg!! Crazy! Poor Charlie! Sam always getting thrown around!! Great job Dean!! Omg! Sam punching Dean! Omg!! Dean in the military? Charlie? Video game? Crazy!! So that’s why she’s been on the run! There is another one!! Dean and Charlie playing the game? On a loop forever? Charlie seeing her mom! Aww..Charlie talking about why she’s the way she is…adorable! Sam!! omg! Poor Sam! Go Sam! Dean wants to stop the game! Omg…I’m so sad  that is so sad! Her mom is gone? Aww…I’m so sad Charlie believes in Sam! Dean will never let go! The “I love you” so adorable!! Hug!! Charlie and her mom…sad! She’s going to read to her! Loved, Loved, Loved this episode!!! __________________

I really enjoyed the episode. The preview had made it look a bit hokie but it wasn't. Not only did it have it's cute and funny moments but I really enjoyed the connection between Charlie and Dean.
I love watching their friendship grow. He's like the little sister Dean never had. I also enjoyed the Dean/Sam moments, especially the hug. I hope Dean and Sam can stay on the same page for the rest of the season. Would anybody else be interested in a Dean & Charlie thread? __________________
