7x04 - "Defending Your Life" Episode Discussion
Defending Your Life

Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a string of gruesome murders and discover the Egyptian god Osiris (guest star Faran Tahir) is behind the deaths. The vengeful god is putting people on trial for their past mistakes and killing them if found guilty. Osiris hones in on Dean's guilt and decides he's the next to stand trial. Sam steps in as Dean's lawyer, but both brothers are unprepared when Osiris calls an unexpected witness – Jo (guest star Alona Tal). Robert Singer directed the episode written by Adam Glass.

I am redicoulously excited for this episode!! It looks so good!

I know Dean's issues with Jo are going to be addressed but I do hope what went down with Dean last week gets addressed as well. Its about guilt so this seems like it would be a good opportunity to comes clean about it.

I am happy that we seem to be going back into the Sam episodes/Dean episodes format. Episode 1 was pretty much a Cas centric episode, episode 2 I would say was brother centric/Big bad centric and them both working on their issues; Ep 3 was Sam centric and this looks Dean centric. I no longer feel like one brother is being shafted for a majority of the time.

Yep, I hope they touch on all his guilt and not just the Jo guilt. It would be kind of random for it to be all about Jo since we havent really seen it on screen and it was how long since her death in their time?

This seems like it's gonna be another great ep I agree, I hope the Amy issue is dealt with as well. It'd feel sorta off if they just sweep it under the rug and forget about it/
