^ I so know what you mean. But still a good filler episode. The censoring was ridiculously funny.

I'm assuming because of the strike they moved the timeline accordigly to fit the last 4 episodes.
Didn't they say somewhere in the episode that it was February during the actual ghostfacers part? I'll have to rewatch it and see if I can find the exact line.

I just rewatched the episode again, it's so depressing that Dean only has 2 months till the deal is up. I still love the cussing and the bleeping

I love how smart the boys are to leave the magnet to wipe out all the footage. Because the world really isn't ready for Ghostfacers, plus Sam and Dean are suppose to be dead. They really can't let the feds know they are still alive. The boys don't need to deal with breaking Dean's deal and the demon war, with adding on running from the feds to that. It would just be too many things raining down on them.

I think you might be right....

Maybe.... The Ghostfacers episode was shot quite a while before the boys got to see it?

Would that make the math work a little better?

I don't know....
Anyone else?

*relieved* I thought I was going crazy. That's what I figured, the ghostfacers part took place in Feb. and the rest in kind of the present. But I could be mistaken, it's happened before.

That was my biggest thought during the whole thing! I'm like "you can't let them make this show, you're DEAD!"

At first I was alittle confused on how casual the guys were about this, but when they looked at eachother and Dean reached in the bag I figured what was up.

after rewatching it, the cussing && them wiping out every video were the best parts!

Exactly why I was disappointed with Ghostfacers, its been awhile since I’ve seen a dark creepy episode, judging from the preview, I thought finally I was gonna get spooked, the episode appeared creepy but actually was a total let down. I said long ago that S3 is not living up to S1 or S2, the original reason I watch has been stripped away and adding useless characters that brings nothing to the show has not helped either.

I miss the boys traveling back roads in the metalicar blaring rock music, seeking out myths, monsters, etc. However I find more episodes then EBLAC S2 and TKAAR S3 as creepy. I wont go in to them all but for S3, FB with the vamps and Gordon death, MM homegirl teeth falling out, the maggot sandwich and demon/witches creeped me out, JIB I found the demon standoff and the introduction of Lilith very eerie, DALDOM with Demon Dean shook me a bit. Overall I do agree that so far not much has had my heart pounding as past episodes of S1 & S2. I am not opposed to change, a lighthearted epi or two is fine, but please keep the show as we love it for. At this point I can only hope S4 will get things back on track, but it would be unrealistic to expect every episode to deliver full on weirdness but at least I hope there will be more creepy then not.

But wasn't most of the eppy supposed to be in february? Logically shouldn't Dean be down to only a couple of weeks?
Guess you and Folie worked this out

I so sad coz I love SPN to death and yesterday evening when I watched it I was like WTF is that really SPN that I watch?

Hope next week will be better
Copy that as I was watching thinking WTF as well, I really think this weeks episode will be better tho, not only because of the preview but what I have read, it may be more emotional then creepy, thats fine with me as long as it features the boys and have something to do with the storyline, Ghostfacers was way off the mark nothing to do with nothing

The biggest one was that there was not enough of Dean and Sam and that they didn't care much for Harry or Ed.

The eppy was boring to me, as I mentioned earlier the hand held camera thingy reminded me of The Blair Witch Project which totally sucked and so did this eppy, there was not enough action and mostly focused on the Ghostfacers and not Sam and Dean, the fact the boys once again were practically secondary characters in the backround kinda bugs, I know J2 are busy making movies and other appearances so maybe that’s why they are kinda taking a backseat lately

After a long hiatus/writers strike dilema I was looking forward to some spooky action and some hotness but all I got was darkness. It was funny when they were swearing and it was bleeped out, and it was great getting an insight on the timeline Deans deal is due, only 2 months left

On a brighter note not having Ruby or Bela around was refreshing

Ghostfaces preview was very misleading, however I believe next week eppy is gonna kill me, I was already feeling teary eyed when I saw the preview.
I agree! I didn't like the hand held camera thing at all. I had the worst headache when it aired (unfortunately) so it didn't help any...and then of course the huge thing was there not being much of Sam and Dean..after this huge long wait for an ep they are hardly in it...for me personally it was not one of my favorite episodes at all.

But I am looking forward to next week. That one looks like it's going to be a good one

Finally got a chance to watch this. I thought it was ok. Maybe I'll appreciate it more the 2nd time around. I liked the spoof/mockish aspect of it and it did have alot of funny moments. But, I guess I'm really wrapped up in the mythology and darker edge this season so this episode felt strangely out of place.

That was great. I kept thinking through the ep that the boys are supposed to be dead - wouldn't them showing up on television kindof blow that story? But then Sam and Dean worked together to take care of that problem.

That's was one of my favorite songs when I was a kid (my mom liked the singer Lesley Gore). But now I'm wondering if there's always going to be a slightly creepy feeling to it now when I hear it.........

Because Dude!!! You know Sam and especially Dean shouldn't talk as "clean" and censored as they do!
That was great. Because yeah, that's how the boys would really talk (if they weren't on television ). And I loved how much swearing Sam did.

hahhaa.
The lyrics are actually "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to" (unless I missed a part where someone sang along and changed the lyrics........ )

Still creepy, though.

I imagine that's so.

Honestly, I don't pay too much attention to dates and timing on this show. I pretty much just take it on face-value (after the insta-dawn in Bugs, I find it makes things easier for me ). But I do believe they said that the house was haunted on February 29, Leap Year, didn't they?

This is my least favorite episode of SPN, way too less Sam and Dean and the Ghostfacers weren't that funny, the time Sam and Dean were together, that scenes i loved. Indeed especially the swearing and 'beeps'
