A Very Supernatural Christmas

It's Christmas time and Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a series of murders where the victims were pulled up through the chimney. Sam realizes they are dealing with a sort of Anti-Santa, a demon with roots in pagan lore. Dean wants to celebrate Christmas the old fashioned way as this is his last, but Sam refuses, not wanting to accept that Dean won't be around next year.

Sam flashes back to a certain Christmas when he waited for his father to come home to give him a special gift.

Sam is my favorit (maybe it will change in season four with all the things he does there, but I can´t imaging it right now - I say in good and bad times - but we will see) but with all of the flashbacks and what Dean has done for him - I was a little disappointed with Sam at first. I can see and understand how hard it is for him to celebrate christmas with knowing that Dean won´t be there next year. But for little Dean it wasn´t easy to when they Dad was away and he had to protect Sam and look after him to have a normal life as possible.
But at the end I was such a bittersweet moment between these two. You can totally see how tough this is for Sam with the tears in his eyes and the (to) hard drink. But he steps back and put his feelings behind Deans and tries to make a beautiful christmas as it is possible under these circumstances.
And Dean looks happy at least for this moment.
I love this scene and could watch it over and over again.
Great acting from both. They hit me straight in my heart.

And Dean had some of the funniest lines too hehe.

Every time I watch fingernail scene, I squirm. I know it's coming but arghhh...

I love Ridge as Dean but I freakin' adore Colin Ford as Sam.

Gah, those screencaps of Jared killed me. The pain and sadness...

I also love that we found out about Dean's necklace and he's worn it all the time...and in "Lazurus Rising", Sam gives the necklace back to Dean, knowing that he'd want it back.

I have seen on youtube the clip where Jensen is talking about how much fun he had on this episode. With dying all the time and Jared had to go through the emotions all the time. He was really cute in it.
