Do you think Sam actually would accept that? I mean, he's going to save Dean. As already mentioned, I refuse to consider any other possibility. But even if he doesn't, if Dean does die and go to hell, I don't think that Sam would ever give up on trying to bring him back.

However.... that would be extremely repetative storytelling from the writers.
Which is exactly why I think that Sam will save Dean before he dies...

I suppose it could be repetive. Depends on how long and what approaches Sam takes to it. (I mean, I haven't had a problem with the show repeatedly saying that Sam is trying to save Dean)

My point was just that I don't think Sammy would ever accept that he'd lost Dean and that there was no getting his brother back.

I don't think they are comparable. IMO reminding the audience that a storyline is at play is not the same as repeating a storyline over and over...

Like I said, it would depend on how they did it. Not all Sam's attempts to get Dean out of hell would have to be the same. It could simply be the overriding story arc - like their attempts to defeat YED.

But this is all theoretical, since Sam is going to find a way to save Dean.

I thought this was a great premiere... we got to see some demons that were recently released. It was scary having 7 of them coming after them. I loved that we got Bobby helping them out, but it was a bit weird Ellen wasnt there. And I want to see Jo again.

I did like the addition of Ruby though, Katie is awesome. (and ive met her before ). I cant remember her part in this so I am interested to rewatch these.

Also, isn't 'Meg' still out there too somewhere?

I love how the boys have to both figure out a loophole for Dean's promise and stop all these released hell demons. It's gonna be a helluva season.
