loved the episode!!!!!!!! Sam can't be dead!! never!! i can't believe that Ash died..i loved him!! the moment at the end with sam and dean! awesome!! can't wait till part 2!

I thought last night's episode was excellent as far as continuing the 'special' children story line. We found out a few things:

1. Sam has demon blood in him.
2. Mary Winchester knew who the demon was.
3. Ava was a big, fat, evil liar.
4. Ash knew something important but now he and the Roadhouse are toast.
5. Ellen is missing.
6. The demon revealed that Sam is only one generation of children with special abilities. That means there's a heck of a lot more out there.

The episode also brought a bunch of questions:

1. If Sam has demon blood in him what does it entail. (I'm thinking that he's not actually dead because of this. I have a feeling that the demon blood will help bring him back to life).
2. Who is this yellow-eyed demon? Is he the big-boss, the main honcho? Or is he just middle-management?
3. Where the hell is Ellen?
4. What's going to happen to Jo?
5. What information did Ash have that caused the forces of evil to kill him?

I'm looking for a preview of part 2. They didn't show it in Vancouver so if someone can point me in the right direction, I'll love you forever.

I'm thinking he's not dead though. I wonder if he made all those kids drink blood or just Sam? If so, maybe that's why the demon is rooting for him because he picked him to be elite. The best! But its going to come right back around and kick him in the butt, cause Sam will wake up, come after the demon and he ends up dead!

This is me hoping!

I cannot begin to explain what I am feeling right now after watching the episode. The title was so true - All Hell Breaks Loose and I for one, cannot think of anything anymore. I mean, we've had our fair share of drama and emotionally intensed episodes both from season 1 and 2, though, I wasn't prepared enough to see Sam fell and possibly dead. But I do hope he'll be okay.

Okay, before I go all about what happened to the brothers, I'd like to say first that the achiri (sp?), (the demon disguising a little girl) was a fantastic, scary bastard. I love the special effects plus the ghost town was so creepy. Man! It was really creepy.

Oh, I forgot about Dean wanting 'PIE' That was way too adorable.

Then there's RoadHouse destroyed and Ash was dead. Wait a minute, I've said this before and I think I have to repeat myself. Why do I feel like Ellen isn't someone who we thought she is. I have this doubt before that maybe she's not the person that she portrays to Sam and Dean. Maybe a YED follower, too? Why did I say so? Where was she? Roadhouse was supposedly run by her but why isn't she there?

That's exactly what I am thinking now. I am thinking that Sam will survive because of the demon blood. Though, that may have a serious consequence - evil!Sam totally taking over his body. And that's actually what I think will be the focus of S3 (if ever we'll have one) - Dean trying to save his brother, who's evil side had taken over the real Sam. Heck! Maybe evil!Sam would even live to kill the YED and then take over the war the YED had started. I dunno, my mind is going completely bollocks with the what ifs and maybes.

Based from what happened after the YED appeared on Sam's dream, I don't actually believe the YED telling Sammy is his favourite. Jake mentioned something about 'weeding' the chosen ones and trying to let them kill each other to prove themselves.

Have you guys watched 'Legends of the Fall?' I was reminded of the scene when Samuel (coincidence? ) became blind by the teargas and then was stuck at the barb-wire and then he heard Tristan (his brother, played by Brad Pitt) screaming for his name, Samuel smiled and you'll see a flicker of hope in his face. Then just as when Tristan was about to untangle him off the wires, Samuel was shot to dead. It broke me into pieces. The last scene is very much like that for me. When Sam heard Dean calling out for him, we see that same flicker of hope that says, 'Yes! He's here, I'm going to be safe. Dean's going to save me'. But then again Dean was too late. And that made it heartbreaking for me. Plus, Dean's lines and the painful expression (that he still was trying to hide with Sam, just to tell Sam that it's all gonna be okay) killed me. Jensen was clearly on top of his game. I love him for killing me so much! I couldn't bear to see Sam that helpless. I was indeed clutching to my pillow, letting the tears race down my cheeks. Oh, Sammy! No, you aren't dead. Because if he is then there's no point of continuing the brothers' quest.

Yep, we get more Sam in this episode. I'm not saying I didn't like it, because I love Jared and I would kill for longer screentime for him. Though, the first part where they (the chosen ones) were introduced or re-introduced kinda made the episode a bit dragging in the beginning. Or maybe I should not say that because we all know that this is deliberately a part one so I won't get any closure, ending etc like what most SPN episodes have. Nevertheless, I am glad that we get to see how Dean will react on the part two. I haven't seen the preview but something tells me this will probably kill me again.

ETA: Oh, Ava - boy I was glad she's back because I liked her in Hunted but then she truned evil? Made me sad that she turned like that.
Andy - I actually liked him so I was sad he's gone, too.

I was super sad to see Andy go. He was way fun!

Oh, and maybe Ellen is from another generation of the 'special' kids. And maybe so was Sam's mom. She knew the demon, so maybe she was one of 'his' kids at one time and Sammy inherited it!

Oh, maybe Sammy will come back all Buffified and can seriously kick some demon arse. I could very possibly see him pulling an Angel and going bad for a season.

I know! I was totally diggin Andy. I was totally LMAO when he was talking about the gay porn thing and no one was laughing with him.

That's a great theory! I never thought of that. That would be a good explanation for why Mary would know who the heck the YED is. However, what I don't understand is why nothing ever happened (at least that we know of) with the previous generation(s) of 'special' children?

The only thing is, if Sammy inherited the special abilities, what about Jo? What does that make her?


(On a side note, every time they say 'Special' children, my mind always flashes to Jerry Lewis and his "special" kids. )

I can't process anything right now, the ending had me crying and bawling my eyes out. Why does Supernatural do this to me?
