11x15 "Beyond the Mat" Episode Discussion
Beyond the Mat February 24, 2016 The CW WWE CHAMPION MIKE “THE MIZ” MIZANIN GUEST STARS – Dean (Jensen Ackles) sees an obituary notice for a wrestler he and Sam (Jared Padalecki) used to watch when they were kids. Deciding they need a break from tracking the Darkness, the brothers decide to attend the funeral to pay their respects. The funeral is full of wrestlers, including Shawn Harley (guest star Mike “The Miz” Mizanin), a hot shot new wrestler with a fiery temper who pushes everyone’s buttons, and veteran wrestler Gunner Lawless (guest star Aleks Paunovic). Sam and Dean attend the next match to re-live one of their fondest childhood memories but when another wrestler turns up dead, play time quickly turns to work. Jerry Wanek directed the episode written by John Bring & Andrew Dabb __________________

A wrestling episode…this is going to be one of those “out there” episodes…I can tell already. I know nothing about wresting so...just another random day on the show. Dean and Sam going to the funeral of the wrestler. Castiel as Lucifer gotta not mind it really. Dean is totally a fanboy! Dean is going to be me when I go to my convention in June! Sam is so cute…total fanboy too! Going to be match! Dean is having the time of his life! Omg! Another death! “tickle fight with Edward Scissorhands”
 omg! Dean getting into the ring! Quickly pretending to be FBI….love it! Dean testing the drink with the holy water! Crowley escaped! Dean had lots and lots to drink…and tested them all with holy water. Great crazy…everyone is a demon maybe…or maybe one person who knows! Lucifer/Castiel appears. Lucifer/Castiel taunting Crowley! Yeah..Crowley pretty much did! Dean giving good advice “it’s never too late to do the right thing.” Hell hounds? You know that’s not good! They haven’t always made the best choices…but they know that in the end it will be Ok! Dean is done…he just wants everything to be fixed! Great episode…they are just going to be keep going no matter what.__________________

I thought the episode was okay because it was nice to Sam & Dean laughing and smiling and just having fun!
Fan boy Dean is always funny to watch too!  Sam looked so hot at funeral damn and I really loved seeing Sam laugh so much and smile!  __________________

I liked it. Not the strongest episode of the season, but definitely good. LOVED Dean fanboying and Sam crushing!
Plus it was nice to see a crossroad demon, it's been awhile. Too bad they couldn't save the one guy though.  but the rest of the episode? CASIFER MUST GO! OMG what a train wreck that is.  ...glad to see Crowley out though! (Never thought I'd say that)__________________

I really enjoyed watching Dean act like a kid. Loved how Sam crushed on the woman.
Not that crazy about the Crowley/Castifer part but glad Crowley got away. And now we have to wait a few weeks...again *sigh* __________________

:loveI'm also not feeling Casifer! We need regular Cas back stat! Yay Crowley is back and being feisty again! Ugh yup now we have to wait another month! __________________

I enjoy Misha's acting as Casifer, IMO he's doing a great job
