10x16 - "Paint It Black" Episode Discussion Thread
"Paint It Black" March 25, 2015; The CW CROWENA MAKES PLANS TO RECLAIM HER MAGIC — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a string of suicides committed by people with little in common other than the identical, grisly method of death – slow, self-administered disembowelment. All of the victims were members of a Catholic church and had recently given confession, leading the brothers to suspect the priest (guest star Stephen Daniel Curtis) is somehow involved. Meanwhile, when Crowley (Mark Sheppard) captures Olivette (guest star Teryl Rothery), the leader of the Grand Coven, Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) pleads her case to be allowed to practice magic freely again. John Showalter directed this episode written by Brad Buckner & Eugenie Ross-Leming __________________

Well..that was unpleasant. Crowley is back! The two faces No…don’t bring her on…she’s horrible! Sam and Dean! Crazy possible case they have this week! Ok with the stabbing! Crazy! That nun is evil…I can tell. EMF meter! Burial crypts? That explains it! Dean wants to confess! I don’t care about these flashbacks..nope. ugh..enough Rowena already! Dean’s confessions! He’s not ready to die! Sam and Dean Poor Dean!! Evil Nun! Sam is driving! The little moment at the end! Ok episode…not the best that’s for sure.

I thought it was a bit of a boring episode. The best part was Sam's b**ch face near the beginning & they are about to get into the Impala at the police station & the talk at the end of the episode. It was great that Sam wasn't thrown into a wall or got knocked out AND Sam saved the day (sorry just tired of the damsel/suddenly dumb role they've given him)
Still don't like Rowena But happy to see what little bit of Crowley we got, though he needs to really step up being a baddie. No Cas. Miss him, but he'll be back next week. Okay, back the episode, the ghost story line was okay. Not the greatest, but not the best either I was texting with my husband during Dean's confession, so will need to rewatch since people on Twitter were talking about it Looking forward to next week. __________________

I thought the episode was slow and kinda dragging. I mean, nothing really happened at all plot wise, and the MOTW plot was slow.
But Dean's confession __________________
