I'm a huge WT fan. I was planning on making a WT thread one of these days, but I'm glad someone else did!

Memories is a great song. Did you hear? Angels is supposedly the new single. I hope so! Angels is my favourite song off of TSF.

I used to like Within Temptation before they become just like Evanescence. "Ice Queen" and "Wish You Were Here" are great songs.

Now, it's just so... commercial, it's like a copy of Evanescence and I don't like it

I've never heard of "Wish You Where Here"... what album is it from??

Their new sound is a lot more "polished" and commercial, but I don't really care. It's still good music in my mind. I think it's great that they're changing their sound with each album they put out!

I think it'd do well as a single! And I'm sure this will bring in even more fans (than Memories did).

As far as I know, someone just labeled Restless an Ev song. It isn't, though. I've seen a lot of that and I've seen a lot of people mixing WT and Nightwish... I wish they'd get it straight!

well, I think there is a big difference in evanescence and WT, WT's songs are more...ehmm..what word am I looking for?.... earthish i don't know how to explain it...

Now, I looove Amy to death (you know that ), but I don't think Amy could ever sound like either Sharon or Tarja. She can do the operatic voice and all, but still, they've all got different sounds, you know?

I know what you're trying to say! It's more fantasy-ish, more odes to nature and stuff. That's why I like them. I love that almost fairytale-like music they have. And Sharon's vocals just blow me away. Everytime I hear a live song by them, I'm just astounded.

So, what are your favourite songs guys? And why? Just to make it more of a discussion..

My favourite song is (although it is only a cover song) Running Up That Hill. I've never heard the original, but the one WT did is just so fun! I love singing it and it's just awesome.

About that song "Wish You Were Here", that isn't a WT song either. I found that out the other day. I'd seen it before and was pretty sure it wasn't a WT song, but I just needed confirmation. It could have been a song like "Frozen", with Sharon singing it but with a different band.
