The VMA's 2006 - Let's chat and rail!

Hey there!

So who's watching the VMA's today?

Do you think that there will be scandals or tragedies like this?

Oh, that sight still gives me nightmares.... Eek!

I actually caught them by chance. I was flipping through channels and saw the pre show.

This show is NOT what it used to and probably won't be for a long time.

Justin was really a cool opening but it seemed a little too Usher for me. I love Usher, though.

I was watching the later version, the second run of it (i had to work until 10) and at the end (when panic! won! yea!!!) that dude that ran on stage. I saw him grab the mike from one of the guys and was like they never came me a show...at first i thought he was protesting against panic!

I agree the show isn't what it use to be.

But the highlight of the night for me was def. Christina Aguilera's performance! I really love that song and she did such an awesome job singing it! Sucks she didn't win any awards though.

Well I really think they should've had the Raconteurs have a proper performance what was that? They were singing during the break on the side stage?

Ok I don't like Christina but her performance was really good.

The Sarah Silverman moments were kinda unnecessary. Jack Black is already enough.

A few surprises to me, I really thought Kanye West will be the big winner tonight & yet nothing for him today. I didn't expect James Blunt & All American Rejects to win, the competition was pretty tough. And Avenged Sevenfold won best new artist? come on they're not new NEW.

I'm glad AFI won! They deserve it. They're amazing.

I am happy this year with the winners. For once rock is getting the recongion for the great music that some people (AAR Panic! and Avenged) make. Rap has won it almost every year and I am so happy that this year the underdogs came out and won! The highlight of the night for me has to be Panic! performance. It rocked. They totally deserved best video. I Write Sins is a great song and the vid rocks. But Panic! has so many good songs its hard to choose which is my favorite.

The VMA's sucked. I was utterly disappointed. And pissed that I was excited all month for such a dismal show.

I thought all the performances were good. That's all I ask for. I've learned the host always sucks. I agree Christina deserved to win something. Happy Kelly Clarkson, James Blunt, Paniac! and Beyonce took something home. I guess FOB as well but I am kinda overexposed to Pete Wentz.

I liked that the winners were pretty spread out...........no one dominated.

The performances were pretty good for the most part.

Loved J.T. Yes, I'm admitting that.

Panic! rocked!!

VMA's sucked this year, especially the host, that damn band playing and that not so funny comedian Sarah Silverman.

Christina had a great performance though!!

The VMAs have sucked this past years.... I wish they watched the 2000 and 2003 VMAs and try to do good things like those years.
The only good performances this year were Fergie in the red carpet and Shakira.
Shakira deserved to win more awards, like Best Female.
I'm happy that 30 seconds to Mars won the MTV2 award.
