Born in Calgary, Tegan and Sara began their musical path in 1995 and at the age of 26 have released 5 albums. Tegan currently resides in Vancouver, BC and Sara resides in Montreal, QC. Tegan and Sara released their fifth album, THE CON, on july 24, 2007. They are currently working on their sixth album.

So, I take it there's not much news in T&S-land? Hopefully that just means they're hard at work in the studio and with the book series.

On a completely random note, I don't know how, but I came across T&S fanfic. It is without a doubt the most unintentionally funny thing I've ever come across. Also quite disturbing. I totally had to click away before I suffered a stroke. Quincest. *shivers in repulsion* I honestly, honestly, honestly, don't understand why anyone would feel the need to write that. I mean, ya gotta be a little off if that's how you get your jollies out, yo.

Yeah.. Quincest *shivers* luckily there isn't a lot of it out there, unlike with some bands that also have siblings, but it does pop up every now and again. It'd be funny if it weren't so disturbing

^You know, every time I get my heart broken I go through this phase of listening to really sad, somber music, but then afterwards I go through this other phase of listening to love songs, relationship songs that are little more positive. I always tell people that, and they never understand it, but I always need to latch onto a great love song after a break up. To sort of, I guess, reaffirm my belief that love still exists. So Take Me Anywhere is that for me now. I tell myself it's okay if I haven’t meet him yet, because one day I will and in those moments of doubt this song pops up to remind me ‘He’s looking for you too’.

I love Take Me Anywhere, but every time I hear it the thing I most look forward to is Sara's ''take me anywhere'' backing vocals. Perfection.

Aw, I totally get what you're saying. That's really cool Take Me Anywhere is that song for you. I think a lot of their songs are relatable. I have a weird connection with Relief Next to Me.
