I've seen the title used on other threads at other boards, so it should be fine. Not sure about the rules on this board, though.

Thanks for the new thread.

Well, the mods will change it if there's a problem. Hopefully it's fine

Thanks for the new thread, Leila
Love the title, if the mods have a problem with it we can always change it to Open your eyes: recognize they're the best
I'm so sad SP didn't win at Brit Award, especially for best single...

Leila, thank you for the new thread! I hope the title can stay.

Catrina and Louise, thanks for keeping us updated about the Brit Awards.

Oh, I just can't believe SP didn't win a single award! I'm actually able to watch the awards show tomorrow night, after all...but now, I'm not looking forward to it near as much ...but it'll be so worth it to see them perform "Chasing Cars."

Angie, that's a good alternate title. Oh, thanks for that PM.

Rachel, wow, your countdown to the 20th has started! I'm so excited for you!

Was really disappointing that they didn't win anything last night but their amazing performance of Chasing Cars still made the show worth watching, it was easily the best performance of the night . Take That may have won best single but when they did the performance they all looked like they'd forgotten how to sing - it was odd .

Snow Patrol's performance of Chasing Cars last night was only rivalled by Brandon and the boys giving a storming rendition of When You Were Young. I did not like Take That's performance at all, they sounded like strangled cats. SP were definetly robbed.

I'm so glad OYE has been used in the title - I adore that song.

Thanks for the new thread!

Here is some SP news from MTV:
Quote:
LOS ANGELES — In what Pharrell Williams called "the biggest party on Earth," he, Snoop Dogg, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Black Eyed Peas, Fall Out Boy, Akon, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, John Mayer, the Foo Fighters, AFI and Sheryl Crow are among more than 100 major acts who will take part in a series of international concerts organized by former vice president and environmental advocate Al Gore.

The concerts, called Save Our Selves — The Campaign for a Climate in Crisis (or S.O.S. for short), are aimed at raising public awareness about global warming, Gore and co-organizer Kevin Wall announced Thursday (February 15) at the California Science Center.

Pharrell, who was the first artist on board and is helping to organize the event, will also perform, as well as Lenny Kravitz, Bon Jovi, Damien Rice, Corinne Bailey Rae, Snow Patrol, Keane, Korn, Bloc Party, Duran Duran, Melissa Etheridge, Enrique Iglesias, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Maná and Paolo Nutini.
There's more to the article but I just posted mainly the performers.
