| It's probably one of the best bands ever. Billy Corgan was really talented (still is but it's not the same). I have all their albums but the one i like the most is "Siamese Dream" and my favourite song "Mayonaise". What about yours? | |||

| OMG I can't believe my eyes! A Smashing Pumpkins thread! They are my favorite band of all time (only topped by Pearl Jam). I considered starting a thread once or twice but I never did because I thought no-one would post.  Billy is one of the most talented lead singers and songwriters, and all the members of the bad are so talented... their music touches me like few other bands or artists are able to. My favorite album has to be Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, although I also love Siamese Dream.  But overall I love all their albums, except for Machina... I didn't really feel it.  I also like Zwan, Billy's other band. So do you guys know about the Pumpkins' reunion? They are working on studio now and about to release a new album! | Wow! That's great news!!! Didn't know they were planning on recording another album together. Machina it's a difficult album to listen to but for me the one that was really hard to understand was "Ava Adore". "Mellon collie and the infinite sadness" it's a great album with some of the greatest songs like "Tonight, tonight", "Bodies" or "In the arms of the sleep". Do you like Pisces Iscariot? | |||

It's darker and has a more electronic sound, but I think it's one of their best. Some songs in there make me cry... but I think there's songs in all their albums that make me cry. | I've recently found a 5 disc box set, every disc containing 5 or six songs. It was a box released not long after "Mellon Collie and the Infinite sadness" and it has all the singles of this album and b-sides. It's great! | |||
