To get the ball rolling... I enjoy reggae music as it is very relaxing.

How about you? Any reggae artists you are into? Any recs? So much to talk about.

I love reggae (roots and some dancehall)! Right now I'm pretty into S.O.J.A, Collie Buddz, Tanya Stephens, Linton Kwesi Johnson and Busy Signal.

What's your favorite song? From the little bits that I heard of Linton Kwesi Johnson, his music is different. In an interesting way.

Haven't heard the others you mentioned.

I've actually heard about Jahcoustix. They were at an other swedish festival this summer - Peace And Love! I unfortunely missed that concert

But I haven't heard about The Dubious Neighbourhood! But I'm gonna look them up!

Edit: I just have to recommend this swedish group - Hoffmaestro! YouTube - Hoffmaestro - Highwayman (with lyrics) I love them!

My favorite song at the moment is "Eyez". Uppsala Reggaefestival sounds awesome btw! Is reggae popular in Sweden?

Cool you heard about Jahcoustix. He is great! (Haven't seen him live though. One day.) I was immediately drawn to him because of his roots reggae sound.

The Dubious Neighbourhood is just the band he plays with (ala Bob Marely and the Wailers). Pretty cool. Anyway, I hope you get to see him in the near future!

I'll listen to Hoffmaestro ASAP!

Yeaaah, he's awesome live! Reggae... well, it was almost 20,000 ppl on URF this summer... So... it's not SO popular but... kinda, lol x)

I was refering about the aussie one, lol. But whoa... THAT lineup is pretty cool!!!! Buju Banton!!!! I wish I lived in Long Beach or Germany! They had UB40 at this year's Summer Jam.
