I love European artists.

- Coldplay
- Keane
- Travis
- Estopa
- The Rasmus

I have a lot more, but I just can't think at the moment.

When you say 'European', do you mean the continent only, or England as well?

My favourites:
Placebo - trio from, respectively, Luxembourg/Sweden/England. Lite punk/rock in their early days, electronic pop-rock in recent years. Try Every You Every Me, The Bitter End, Twenty Years.
Sigur Ros - Icelandic quartet with amazingly dynamic soundscapes. Try Ny Batteri, Starafleur.
Theatre of Tragedy - Norweigian goth-industrial with interesting vocal duets. Try A Rose For The Dead, Venus, Siren.
Muse - trio from Devon, England. Apocalyptic stadium rock. Try Space Dementia, Time Is Running Out, Sunburn.

Ska-P: They're are Spanish. Mix of Ska, punk and reggae. Their songs are often quite politicl.
Manau: French rap. Worth listening to 'la tribu de Dana'

UK
Radiohead
Manic street preachers
David Gray
Damien Rice

I've got loads more that I can't think of. Is there a particular genre or language that you prefer?

I could make the list practically endless, but I'll start with:

Phoenix
Moneybrother
Pink Grease
The Hives (duh)
Mew
Mando Diao
Kent
Sugarplum Fairy
Soundtrack of Our Lives
The (International) Noice Conspiracy
Backyard Babies
Marit Bergman
Sophie Zelmani
Björk

...all from Sweden except Björk (Iceland), Pink Grease (UK) and Phoenix (France).
