| Punk/Rock/Hardcore/Metalcore Appreciation Thread Where all the punx at? I used to post on fanforum about a year ago and there was a relatively healthy little punk thread so I'm restarting one. Not just for the punks! But the hardcore/metalcore kids too! There must be more fans of Sick of it All and Terror, Most Precious Blood, NOFX, Propagandhi, Rise Against out there!! | Psychobilly is love Los. I myself was really into my local scene about 2 years ago...but now I'm in a new location and I haven't really had the time to get out and see the scene up here outside of the Indie scene, but I still love punk. I only got into it about 2 years ago, also...so I'm not too educated on old school stuff, but I love NOFX, Alkaline Trio, Flogging Molly, Rancid, Vendetta Red, The Distillers, Anti-Flag and other random offshoots of punk. More than anything I love the whole message behind punk rock. __________________ If looks could really kill, then my profession would be staring / know we do this cause we care and not for the thrill .... | Oh, well, I am not a punk myself, although I do apprectiate the scene. I am into metal (death metal, "gothic metal" [that it's not really gothic metal, but let it be...]) the post-punk bands (The Smiths, Joy Division, Siouxie and the Banshees, Placebo and etc...). And, Marilyn Manson. | The Distillers is quite nice. I like their music, not my favorite band, but very nice. Hey, does any of you here like Type O Negative? I heard they are going on tour, and they will maybe come to Brazil, I'm excited about it. =] There will be a festival here in Brazil in Octuber with lot's of heavy metal bands... Megadeath, Scorpions, Symphony X, Nightwish...
