i'm so happy. I got that album about a year after it was released and haven't looked back since. I got every single one of their albums, including Extended Play, Covers and Greatest Hits, on the day it came out from Without You I'm Nothing to current (Unplugged). Love them so much and they sound better now than ever before!

^I only became a fan shortly before Sleeping with Ghosts got released, but I own so many special editions/re-releases by now too

Yay welcome to the thread Anja! Yes their first album us a classic but my favschedule are Without You I'm Nothing and Meds!  So many good songs of those albums!  Placebo songs always hurt me in a good! Brain's voice and the lyrics are a good combination for so many feels!   Omg I wish I going to their anniversary tour! __________________

I think my fave album is probably Sleeping With Ghosts simply because it was the first one for me and it holds a special place in my heart
But Without You I'm Nothing is a close second.I'm going to the tour in Belgium and I'm so excited already I'm going with the friend that introduced me to the band - she's the one that started this thread years ago. __________________

they don't tour in North America and that makes me sad. They came here in 07 for that Linkin Park tour and I didn't go because I hated the other bands but knowing how long it's been since they've been here, i'm upset!
and Sleeping With Ghosts is probably my favorite album. From the instrumental to the kick you in the teeth (Plasticine) to my fave: Soulmates! |

They've only announced Europe dates for now but I'm sure they said more (non-Europe) dates were coming in the future, so hopefully there'll be some US dates close to where you are?
