About the band:
The Perishers is a Swedish indie rock band. The band began in 1997 composed of six members, since 2001 it has consisted of Ola Klüft (vocals, guitar), Martin Gustafson (keyboards, backing vocals), Pehr Åström (bass), and Thomas Hedlund (drums).

Although they have not had a major commercial breakthrough, they do have a fanbase that stretches across Europe and North America. They've had several songs appear in episodes of the popular American television programs The O.C., One Tree Hill and more noticeably Veronica Mars. Also of note is the fact that Sarah Isaksson (Klüft's former vocal teacher), is a featured artist on their song "Pills." More recently their song 'My Heart' has been played on Saturn Sedan commercials and 'Trouble Sleeping' was played in a promo for Grey's Anatomy.

I was introduced to this band because of "Sway" - used in the Veronica-Logan dance scene. EEEK! Beautiful!

That's the only song I know of them though. What do you recommend?

Sway is an awesome song. So good. Though if you listen to their albums, there are so many great songs. They have amazing lyrics.

Anyway. I first heard Trouble Sleeping, a really good one. In the Blink of an eye, When I wake up Tomorrow, What we once had, Let there be Morning. So many good song. I like them all.

I highly recommend their music. Glad to see someone else here.

I love them. I think I probably first heard Sway, but I don't remember. I have both their albums.

I love the Acoustic version of Sway.

I really can't pick out favourites, though. I love pretty much every song.

The Perishers! My friend made me listen to 'Troube Sleeping', I fell in love with it on the spot That, 'Sway', 'Pills', 'When I Wake Up Tomorrow', 'Let There Be Morning', 'My Heart' are good songs. But I don't have that many of their songs how are their albums, thegreenlight? I haven't heard 'Sway' acoustic. I bet it's awesome. They're so beautiful and melancholy and you feel sad (in a nice way) when you listen to them, it's so great.

I just recently got into The Perishers. Sway is like my theme song now. I don't know many of their other songs except My Heart.

The acoustic version of Sway is really good. And I, too, can't pick out a favourite song. Because they're all so good.

Kara, you can't go wrong with 'Trouble Sleeping', 'My Heart', 'Sway', 'When I Fall'. It's easy to like - they're kind of like Coldplay in their melancholy.

Oh, I forgot about 'When I Fall' and 'Someday', I love those two too I'm quite surprised, I thought 'Trouble Sleeping' would be the more popular song here but it seems to be 'Sway'...hmm.

I really want to see them live, but I haven't. I don't even know what they're doing now. Are they playing? The albums is not really new and I just haven't heard any news.
