I'm not too sure about this season. I'm curious where they're going to take it. The concept of the show was fun in the beginning, but now it seems it's being overshadowed by the bigger drama, which I'm not sure I enjoy.

I really like iZombie, the best part is watching Liv's actress adopt a new persona every episode imo, but i'm terrible at watching one show at once all the way through, i think i'm up to season 2 and 3 in a gazillion shows

what season are they up to now?

I usually prefer actual drama as well, especially in shows where more far more interesting things are happening than the love lives of characters, but if i really ship the pairing i'm a sucker for a bit of relationship drama

It's not even the relationship drama, it's the idea of the personalities and the cases that seem to be overshadowed by the bigger drama. I don't know. I like a simple plot.

well, now i definitely have to catch up to see who I agree with

I prefer a simple plot instead of shows trying to cram too much in and attempting to be cute and clever, but it ends up making no sense and they lose their way. But my favourite plots are the well executed slightly complex plots with lots of twists and turns, that i can follow. Like as much as I love Westworld, I think they tried to do too much and be too edgy and philosophical, and it got a bit convoluted and draggy. I reckon Black Mirror achieved what Westworld was trying to achieve, and is the best modern show in terms of constructing complex and clever plots/commentaries.
