| Nothing. I don't believe in Valentine's Day. And not just because I'm single but because it's just a horribly commercial thing and people put so much pressure on their SOs to get them lame presents that, in my opinion, are hardly romantic at all and then get upset if they don't get anything. Romance should be something significant to you...not flowers and jewellery. I think if you want to give someone something to show your love be spontaneous and do it on any day. But, I mean, if anyone does celebrate V's Day that's their choice, too. I'm all about the right to choose to live your life the way you want. My personal opinion is that it's a bit lame. __________________ | |||

| Oops, I didn't realise it was time for a new thread. I have to agree with you Andi. I may be single too but I'm not one of those bitter ones who would hate anything to do with love - what I do think is that it's horribly commercialised and all the prices are jacked up and it somehow becomes compulsory to have a declaration of love on that one day. Which is stupid. Love is what you make of it - not someone else's definition. My Valentines' Day will probably be spent in this manner: studying in school, having lunch with a (girl) friend, going to class, then working on my essay  I think I'm supposed to go out with my group of (girl) friends but I'm not sure if anything's happening!__________________ go easy on me, I can't help what I'm doing | icon | |||

| Wow. This suddenly turned into the Anti-Valentine's Day thread. I was supposed to be working on Valentine's Day, but someone offered to work it for me. I only agreed to it so I could have three days off in a row. I've been sick for about a week now, so it was well-needed. Don't really have anything planned, I'll either be hanging out at my apartment, or going to the movies with a friend. | |||
