Yup, I've heard it, but I'm not the biggest Jimmy Eat World fan. I thought Lexi was though.

My brother said the new Linkin Park is awful. Do you like it?

Did anyone see the cover of Weezer's new album? LOL. Oh, Hurley.

This is lame but, normally when I'm looking for new music on iTunes, I listen to the 30 second preview of the most popular songs first. If any of them sound promising, I'll listen to the previews of each track and then I'll buy if I like, not the whole album just the individual tracks. Which is what I did today. I didn't plan on buying any full albums seeing as I am broke this week, but the best laid plans... heh.

Singles:
Bad Blood - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
^The only one worth listening to on the new album, if you ask me.

Parachute - Ingrid Michaelson
^I'm pretty sure she and her band played this when I saw her last month. Just a simple pop song, but I'd go as far as saying it's one of my favorites from Miss Ingrid. who is quite possibly the most adorable person i've ever seen. <3

Then I got two tracks from Robert Plant's new album, just based upon the fact that Patty Griffin laid her voice on them. *hee* Who can resist Patty? Seriously. I like Led Zeppelin, but I'm not the world's biggest fan, if I was I'd probably have bought the entire album.

Silver Rider
^Didn't really like it on first listen. Maybe it will grow on me.

House of Cards
^EEPS, I loved it despite the country rock feel to it. But I'm a sucker for 70s rock in general.

Belong - Cary Brothers
^This came out not too long ago. Someone essentially forced me to buy it. Good listen if you're feeling down on yourself and want to stay that way.

The only album I bought:
Azure Ray - Drawing Down the Moon.
^The title alone probably would have got me to pay for this. Um yeah...kind of perfect for autumn which is just around the corner. Might just end up being my soundtrack for the fall. There is something about Maria's voice is so haunting yet comforting at the same time, GAH! Overall it was worth the buy, I loved quite a few tracks on first listen, which is rare for me. Often it takes a few listens for me to really love anything. Somehow it's as if, when a song is familiar to you, it's easier to like it. If that makes sense.

Lonely Girls - Now I have to get the Lucinda version.

Which will probably be 10 times better. BUT IT'S NOT ON ITUNES, WTF!?!
Speaking of Lucinda, today I also bought: "Something About What Happens When We Talk."

Silver Sorrow - Crown me queen in the valley of the fire, soft desire drawing down the moon.

On and On Again - Pretty much fits my current situation to a t.

Overall, I would say if you love Azure Ray, it's definitely worth the buy. Or at least buy the tracks I mentioned.
