New Music Fridays #4 ~ There's still plenty to look forward to in the remainder of the year!

Bringing the over from the last thread, 'cause Jess loved it so much. :P

But it's not a new song. The track has been out for like three weeks. :P I think you were looking for the music video thread.

Thanks for posting Dave! Yes we have to post it in the Music Video thread too! :D

Why just post it there when I can post it in both? :P

Oh look, it's Friday.

My downloads for the week. :wiggle:

I saw that there was a new Simple Creatures track, but it wasn't up on YouTube then.

Bought the new Tool on digital. It’s decent enough but nowhere as flawless as reviewers are saying.

fictitious ways 09-01-2019 12:56 PM

My husband made me suffer through it on the way up north yesterday. :sigh: There were two tracks I would listen to again, but I would never listen to it as a whole again.

Violent Delights 09-01-2019 03:10 PM

I think it's too early to tell with such long songs, but I've listened to it a couple of times. :)

quin0611 09-03-2019 09:21 AM

I'm not feeling the new Tool songs that much.

Violent Delights 09-03-2019 12:50 PM

It's not something to listen to when you're short on time, that's for sure.

fictitious ways 09-03-2019 02:01 PM

Right? You have to set aside a good hour and a half. But I heard there's a version without the interludes, which wouldn't be quite as long, and it still sounds okay.

Well the CD can't fit them all on, so there's just the one before 7empest (Chocolate Chip Trip). It knocks about 12 minutes off if you remove them all and at least then you know you're listening to the main tracks.

Definitely recommend both albums but the Korn one has like 3 instrumentals which is a waste of a track. Hate how many bands have 23 tracks on an album but only 10 are actual songs

Violent Delights 09-13-2019 02:29 PM

 I can pass on interludes, but instrumentals can still be great. ;)

quin0611 09-17-2019 09:00 PM

Yes I totally agree Dave! :high_five:

fictitious ways 09-19-2019 06:59 PM

I thought the Korn album was really good! The new Cold album is pretty interesting as well. :D

Violent Delights 09-20-2019 05:44 AM

New albums from blink-182, The Agonist and Kobra and the Lotus for me today. :)

fictitious ways 09-20-2019 07:51 AM

A new Tsunami Bomb track. Count me in. :gone:

Violent Delights 09-20-2019 09:51 AM

I thought it was surprisingly good, considering the lack of Agent M and all.

fictitious ways 09-21-2019 08:51 AM

Yeah, I defintely prefer them with Emily, but I enjoyed it as well. :D

Violent Delights 09-21-2019 11:36 AM

 they asked her, so you can't blame them for carrying on with the original vocalist. :)

quin0611 09-21-2019 08:36 PM

Good piint Dave. I will check their music out. :)
