I'm counting down the days till Godsmack! After their new one comes out all the albums I've waited for this year are out.
I see a lot of complaints that this album is going to sound more main stream but so what? Band is in their late 30s I think they're growing out of the angry at life phase. Eat the Elephant by A Perfect Circle came out on Friday! I don't know what to think of the album so far. There are 3 really good songs that stick out but the rest are filler right now: __________________

^ I agree about The Perfect Circle album. There's a few really good tracks but the rest are all kind of boring. Idk.

I've only heard one APC track of the new album and it did not make me want to check out the rest.
Since the indie thread seems dead, I'm gonna post these folks here too Indie rock/folk with really powerful vocals and beautiful music. You migh enjoy it even if you're not into indie (I myself am usually not). The album has been out a coupe of weeks, I think. |

Usually it takes me a few listens to get into an album but this one sucked me right in. Maybe one or two weaker tracks but even those are better than most rock music out these days
Yeah it is more hard rock than all else but really they still incorporated a lot of elements that make you nod and say "that's Godsmack!" __________________

I totally agree! I had heard the first few tracks before so it started out strong and then I heard "Unforgettable" and I was like Okay! I can get behind this.
Simply fantastic! Especially "Under Your Scars", as I posted before.  |
