i wrote these lyrics:

Freedom Jones

Freedom of their own,
They want a freedom of their own,
All across the globe,

Democracy arose in ancient Athens,
Resurfaced in the middle ages with the Magna Carta,
Was re-declared in the Declaration of Independence,
Was defended by Ronald Reagan when he called out:
“Tear down this wall”;
And today as Time magazine states:
“After decades of living under oppressive dictatorships,
the people of the Arab world are rising up
to stake their claim to democracy”.

Freedom of their own,
They want a freedom of their own,
All across the globe,
People want to vote;
Send the dictators home,
And let them be shown,
That the voices will yell
For freedom’s bell.

Cheech Marin you assist
We need a strong vocalist,
George Harrison from the stars
Come in on lead guitar.

And Billy Preston chime in
On your electric organ,
Help us hit those highs
From your seat in the skys.
