A note from the moderators, -Supersonic- and **SuperGirl**:

Do not post links to download copyrighted material. Links from filesharing sites, such as yousendit.com, are not allowed on Fan Forum. If you guys have to send each other songs, please do so by PM/email.

If, for example, a song from the band Snow Patrol is put up on their official website, it's okay to put the link up on Fan Forum because the owners of the song (Snow Patrol) have allowed the song to be shared. But if it's a song you have downloaded - even if it's from legal sites such as iTunes - it cannot be put up, because the band has not designated the song to be shared by any non-paying person.)
Spamming/advertising is not allowed on Fan Forum, either. Examples would include advertising for a website that you have created for a band, or telling people to check out a band (with links to a page). If you really need to share the love for a band, you can always post it at the Music Requests Thread or at the Indie Music Recommendation Thread, rather than creating multiple threads for different bands. This makes the board less cluttered.
Anti-threads are not allowed.
Posts made must always have something to do with the thread in general. Star posting, posting only for the purposes of simply "bumping" a thread is not allowed, either.
Links to other message boards/forums is strictly not allowed.
