Death Magnetic comes out in just a few weeks, what version of the album will you be buying? 320kbps MP3 download (meh), basic CD with the basic cover, Kill 'Em All cover cover,The original Death Magnetic cover or the coffin box set? Or will you bootleg it illegally?

Does anyone here love and live Metallica and metal in general? Let's start a movement to get at least one metal board on ! I would gladly add the Led Zeppelin and Acca Dacca threads as part of the Metallica board if we ever get one. I am aware that Metallica are like SONY, they are hated to an extent. I just hope some people could put their hatred aside for the greater good - A METAL BOARD ON !!

BTW, here is the campaign for 'Tallica, I made the logo from all the different variations of the official Metallica logo over the years.

I just heard the entire album Death Magnetic - the hype is deserved! It is cross between the Black and Justice albums with a slight modern feel too in there somewhere.

I have been a hardcore Metallica fan since 1984. And I have to say after being very disappointed with St. Anger, This new album reminded me why I love Metallica so much and the influence the band has had on me. The song All Nightmare Long could be one of the best Metallica songs ever. Also Cyanide and My Apocalypse are kick ass songs also. Its good to see that they have got their focus back.

Also I can definitely hear the Influence Rick Rubin has on this record. It reminds me of Slayers Reign in Blood, which Rubin produced also.

My favourite tracks so far (in no particular order) are: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9. The rest will take time to get into. But track 4 and 10 I know way too well so I am bored of those atm from listening to them too much over the last few weeks.

I agree completely with your opinion. I also think that if Metallica would remaster St Anger to remove the bad tinny drums it might not be such a bad CD.

Are you aware of the campaign I have to get a Metallica (also Metal in general) board on ?

I have missed them and Pantera live...I will never get the opportunity to see Pantera live now. I hope I get a chance to see Metallica at least once.

Don't miss your chance, they are incredible live. I still regret to this day that i had to give up my ozzy/metallica tix back in 86 because I couldn't get a ride to the show, because of that I missed my only chance at seeing them with Cliff.
