Ok I must admit Mariah isn't all bad. I just hate it every time I see her in an MTV interview, cause she's always on a beachchair in a bikini and there's a cute doggy playing around.
But enough with the trashing of Mariah (or Mariano will kick the living daylights out of me [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] )
I do like some songs (maybe I'd like some more if I'd actually listen to it) like the duet with Jay-Z 'Heartbreaker' and Whitney Houston duet 'When you believe' and Butterfly, just like it when she says 'gum', 'not for me, for you' hilarious!!!

[img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] The guy in the video supposedly represents Tommy Motola, and Mariah's liberation from Sony is depicted in this video, with her jumping into a pool from a huge mansion (like the mansion in the pictures on here).

Cool. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] Butterfly is the start of it all though - if you look at the lyrics, you can definitely see that Mariah is talking about having freedom. Mariah's lyrics often mirror what is happening in her life at the time of writing, with Motola keeping her "under glass".

yeah mariah lyrics always reflect on her life!!! not just on the butterfly but on charmebracelet you can hear the references to eminem on the "clown" track and on subtle invatation i think she's singing to tommy motolla!!! at the end of the track she says : you know that i'd give you my all... anytime you need a friend i'm here!!! a reference to the early songs!!! now all we need to figure out is who did she write those songs to!! ( i think it was tommy )
