Okay. I was just listening to the words of one of these songs that my friend keeps playing over and over again and couldn't help but roll my eyes at it.

Are there any words of a song that you hate?

I'll start.

In Avant's "Don't take your love away," he continuely cheats on his girlfriend and when she confronts him about it, he says: "I'm a man and we make mistakes." as his reason for doing it. I can't help but roll my eyes everytime he says that.

Who ever told this girl she could write lyrics? They're all bad, but the "ooh ooh" used in place of an actual rhyming word is what really gets me. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

I don't really get Kelis's lyrics when it says, "my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard."

That song just annoys me with the constant "la la la's"

I agree. That song sucks and is so confusing. From first seeing the music video I thought the song was about lactating. [img]smilies/look.gif[/img]

Violet Blues

Probably Avril's new song. The part: "Did you think that I was gonna give it up to you...this time" The way she sings the "time" part kills me! And that complete line, its just awful. It bugs the crap out of me! Along with the other line someone else mentioned about the kiss. *shudders* And I COMPLETELY agree w/ everyone who doesn't like Kelis's "Milkshake" lyrics. Its degrading and nasty! Especially the "lalalalala warm it up lalalalala the boys are waiting" Oh heavens above! Spare me! [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]
