| I added some stuff to the opening. I know the art kind of sucks, but I just used it for now until someone comes up with something better. | Don't get me wrong, I am a total fan of Justin, but I'm not sad that his album didn't win that Grammy. I liked Mayer's album better. Remember how it was being discussed how Justin seems to be showing his more confident, cocky side lately. He is mentioned in US Weekly's little article - Hollywood Ego Meter. On a scale of lowly and meek to world revolves around them, Justin made it to the top of the list at world revolves around them. They printed this with the article: Quote:

| Oh man, the Grammys. I was annoyed not that Justin was passed up, but that John Mayer won. (Well that and the Dixie Chicks swept the awards, and Natalie gets on my nerves.) But anyway, I'm just not a fan of John Mayer. I don't particularly care for his voice, and I don't like how all his songs sound the same. Thing is, to me at least, you can listen to the entire album without even knowing that you've just heard an entire album of 12+ songs. That's how monotonous it/he seems. As for Justin's arrogance, meh. I for one don't really care for arrogant people. But then again, I like Justin for his music (and his hotness is just a bonus). I don't know him as a person so the arrogance thing doesn't bother me too much. And while his flat-out declarations are kinda out there, I do know a lot of people who watched the Grammys because of Justin. So there's some basis for his claim. Basically, at least Justin's got talent and success/power. Because of his success, he's in a way earned his right to talk smack or whatever. At least he's not an up-and-comer who's making all these comments who hasn't proven anything yet. So yeah. I'm done with this essay-like post. | |||
