Jennifer Lopez to Guest Star on How I Met Your Mother Looks like Jenny From the Block will be making a pit stop at MacLaren’s Bar. CBS announced Wednesday that Jennifer Lopez will guest star in a March episode of How I Met Your Mother. “We’re looking forward to a week of revealing outfits and sexy dance moves the likes of which this show hasn’t seen since Regis Philbin guest starred,” series executive producer and co-creator Carter Bays says. But don’t expect Lopez to show up in another nude cat suit anytime soon. According to a press release, she will play Anita Appleby, an outspoken self-help guru who makes it her mission to break caddish Barney (played by Neil Patrick Harris) of his womanizing ways.

Guests enjoyed food like Kobe beef and gorgonzola sliders and wild mushroom risotto, while the Grammy telecast played on television screens in the restaurant.

I just finished watching Jennifer's "Behind The Music" a few hours ago and that just made me remember how much she has done. Dancer turned actress turned singer. True powerhouse!

She's set to replace Ellen as a judge on American Idol, but she hasn't signed on the dotted line according to LA Times - then again I don't really know how reliable they are A lot of articles about it though are making it seem like it's a done deal

Sources on the production side of "American Idol" are now telling Zap2it that Jennifer Lopez is signed, sealed and delivered for the Season 10 judges' table, while Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is still in negotiations. This means an announcement could still happen Monday (Aug. 2) at FOX's Summer Press Tour executive panel, depending on how things go this weekend.

We know that Jennifer Lopez's love don't cost a thing, but getting her to join "American Idol" definitely does. Reports that the singer-dancer-actress' deal to join the judge's panel next season is done are premature, according to two insiders close to the show. Fox has a deal "in principle" with Lopez but she has not signed on the dotted line. What's the delay? Her representatives are trying to sweeten the deal with other perks which could include a development deal with the television and movie empire. It's not all about incentives for Lopez. Her camp also wants to wait to gauge the public's reaction to news that she is in line to become a judge on America's most popular television show. Although Fox executives would ideally like to present their new "Idol" panel to reporters on Monday at press tour, that's not going to happen. In fact, network sources told the Times Friday afternoon that there will be no "Idol" announcements on Monday. Lopez's publicists have not returned phone calls or e-mails requesting comment.

So, yeah I don't know what to believe but I think it's safe to say that she is the next choice, or one of the choices.

But it's just a rumour until it's official somewhere or her publicists or reps speak.
