It is but I think it's mainly down to Victoria since she seems to promoting in China more than she is in Korea. But it's a difficult situation for her since the whole THADD situation.

It's the South Korea/China situation where they have been banning everything from South Korea in China as there is tension between the two countries. That's why there hasn't been any Kpop/KDrama stars appearing on tv over there.

It's different for Victoria and also, EXO's Lay because both of them are from China and they are quite popular over there. But they both get a lot of backlash if they go back to Korea to promote so that's why both of them have been staying in China. Since EXO's new album is going to released soon, SM has released a statement saying that Lay won't be promoting the new song. I assume he is going to appear in the album and the MV but won't be promoting on music shows, variety shows etc with the group.

I would imagine that would be similar with f(x) but I'm not sure if they will end up promoting at all. Since Amber seems to fed up with the company and she isn't appearing at SM Town concert which is soon and either is Krystal, who is acting. Victoria seems to staying in China since she has set up her own studio there and has been on variety shows. Plus, she is apparently going to have her own solo album which I don't have a clue when it is out. Luna seems to be doing musical and I think she is appearing at the concert.

so that's why I don't think we will be getting a f(x) comeback. Plus, I remember reading on who was coming back in SM during the second half of the year and f(x) wasn't included.

BoA is performing Camo at SMTown concert this weekend and Red Velvet will be performing their new song there too
