| How do you feel about live recordings? Hi, I'm interested what people think about songs that are live recordings. Personally, I love them, but it has to be a good song. I love the feel when the crowd realises it's a song they love and start screaming/clapping etc. So what do you all think? | |||

| I own a lot of Pearl Jam live recording and I love each one of them. A live performance makes a song unique because the crowd is always different and that is a unique moment shared between the band and the audience. __________________ I wish I had a river. | |||

| I don't have a single live recording in my entire CD collection... I just don't find them all that appealing, unless it would be a recording of the concert I've been to, maybe then I would. | I love live recordings, it's just a feeling of emotion when the artist sings it  Also, because in album versions you don't always get that feeling of the emotions put into singing the song. | I love them , but hate it when they let the audience sing on the recording only. If I wanted to hear a bunch of no names sing a song I'll go to a bar thanks. The fact that I'm supposed to know whomever is smiling and holding the mic doesn't help. If they sing along that's fine. __________________ I never lie. | I love live recordings. I have several recordings of Clash and Green Day concerts. | I usually really enjoy them, especially if the atmosphere of the gig is captured, which doesn't always happen.
