There is an old song, it may be from the sixties. It makes me think of My Boyfriend's Back and the Leader of the Pack. It's about a girl who is dating a boy her father doesn't like. She keeps saying they're going to get married, her father comes out with a gun to kill the boy. But his daughter gets in the way and she's the one who dies. As she is dying she is singing, "daddy forgot line we're going to get married." And then it cuts off as she dies, I heard it years ago and can't remember the singer or song name. If anyone knows please let me know.

I know that the lyric it was something like... "Love is in the air" there is a song named like it by Sin Bandera but it's not that.

I heard the perfect song yesterday, but people in my car were jibbering and jabbering while I was trying to listen and figure out who was singing this song of half of a broken heart. Darn radio station went to a different song right after, no name of artist or song given. I have searched those words, and came up with two close to it John Mayer's dreaming with a broken heart and Mario, Soundtrak of a Broken heart. Here is where it gets tricky. The singer sounded like Sting or maybe Maroon Five lead singer. Some of the lyrics -mention how she walks away, and no one ever told him that she would walk with his other half of his heart, and now he is left with half of a broken heart.

HELP! any ideas?

Sweet22 are you sure it was Kelly? I am on azlyrics.com and there are lots of songs with those words, but so far no Kelly Clarkson. Miranda Lambert, Madonna, Spice Girls, Beyonce, wait a minute, #155 states Kelly Clarkson, but it doesn't state what the song is, it takes you to her all her songs.
