Hi everyone, I need some help. Figured this was the best place to come for it. Okay, my husband's nieces is turning 16, naturally she's having a sweet sixteen party. If you don't know much about sweet sixteen's. Well there is a tradition where each person who has had an impact on your life in some way shape or form, goes up & lights one of the candles with you (the one turning 16). This is where my problem comes into play.

My nieces has requested that each person lighting the candle pick their own song. The song plays while you go up to light the candle & a bit after. So it's not a large part of the song, just a chunk of it. I'm CLUELESS what to pick. It's now driving me nuts.. My Mother in law, has also asked me to help pick out a song for her.

Now for my husband, daughter and I.. I just want something not graphic with words, one that's fun, but NOT CORNY.. and all the bands I love aren't too keen with not having graphic songs lol.

For my Mother In law, I'm looking for just something sweet a Grandma/Grand daughter type song, and well just nice.

My niece tends to love Country music the most.. So if it's Country that would be great.. For My Mother In law's song, I'm sure there is a good Country song out there for it. For me though I want the opposite. It can be Country (me I'd have Metallica, Panic at the disco, fall out boy.. etc. But really I'm not sure if that's okay).

So........ If you guys can band together & PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me out with some, ANY, Idea's that would me amazing & I will be so greatful for the help

Anyway. We have a help thread that's topped so I'm actually going to close this thread. You can repost your problem there, where friendly people will help. Or I could do it for you if you're lazy. Anyway, about your problem, well I don't listen to country but I'll have a go and will PM you when I think of something decent.
