HELP!: I need somebody, not just anybody

hey everyone, i was just wondering if you could help me come up with a list of songs appropriate to play at a wedding.

Well, the thing is my drummer's mother is getting married a year from now and she asked the band (The Dancing Stockbrokers) to play at the wedding.
So now I am scrambling to get a list of songs so we can start practicing ASAP. Needless to say, I am more than stressing about it.
So if anyone could help that would be really groovy!

I only have 4 songs to start out with:
She Loves You-The Beatles
From Me To You-The Beatles
Eight Days A Week-The Beatles
Unchained Melody-The Righteous Brothers

Thanks for your help, i REALLY appreciate it!

Well technically there is a help thread, but I'm going to allow this thread to continue. When's the wedding, by the way? And oh, 'She Loves You' is a good song! I like your song selection so far.

I recommend Aqualung's 'Brighter Than Sunshine', but I don't know where to get tabs from, sorry! And also if the bride has green eyes then Coldplay's 'Green Eyes' is good

I am not quite familiar with weddings, in fact I have never been to one, but these songs might be appropiate to play there.

- Your Song / Elton John
- All You Need Is Love / The Beatles

Furthermore: Frank Sinatra, Led Zeppelin..

I was thinking about All You Need Is Love, and i haven't looked at any Elton John yet but i will consider Your Song.

I was thinking about Kelly Clarkson too , led zeppelin is also not too far from being checked out.

A popular wedding song over here is "From this moment on" by Shania Twain.

Rascall Flatts - Bless The Broken Road
Switchfoot - You
Oliver James - Greatest Story Ever Told
Chantal Kreviazuk - Feels Like Home

I think they would be pretty good for a wedding...

^ I completely agree with that Oliver James suggestion. That's a good song.
