well, color me impressed too. Hourglass hails from Utah of all places and is certainly an obscure band if there ever was one. often compared to Dream Theater (what prog metal band isn't), these guys could really tear it up. they even toured some dates with DT back in the day. it's been widely known in prog circles that Hourglass actually outperformed DT leading to their subsequent disappearance from any more shows with them. there's a few more bands with that distinction as well.
