Well in Canada, to travel to major cities it's a long journey

I would only consider it if it was in the same province. Or if I had money to burn!

I just found out my classmate is a big metal fan

I want to make him listen to so many different things..

Love metal

And all types of metal, although I find it hard to listen to death metal mainly because of the vocals.

Favourite bands include Metallica, Machine Head, Disturbed, Megadeth, Slipknot, Black Sabbath, Coal Chamber, System Of A Down, Pantera, Sevendust, Murderdolls ... just to name a few.

Lamb of God's new album leaked early and I love it! The new one kind of blind sided me... I swear there was almost no news on it besides "they were recording" and now it's out next week!

Has anyone listened to Trivium's latest album?

I'm very excited because the annual Soundwave festival is on in Australia in March and System Of A Down, Slipknot, Machine Head, Mastoodon, Alter Bridge, Coal Chamber, Trivium, Marilyn Manson, Black Label Society, In Flames & Hell Yeah are coming (just to name a few)

It's been out for at least a week, but I haven't gotten around to it yet

they're not someone that I rush to listen too, even though everyone seems to think they're amazing

and if you like the vocals on that album, then Arch Enemy shouldn't be too much of a change for you, although there's no melodic sections. you can still understand them though
