I love Iced Earth and Metal Church. Don't know the rest, but am like eager to check them out, since your taste is quite impressive.
And random, but how come neither Slayer nor Iron Maiden have an appreciation thread here  ? |

 . Just kidding, you're pretty right. We have threads for less legendary bands such as LC and WT (nothing bad implied about those bands, of course), but then again those are popular atm, so it makes sense. |

Those threads have regular posters of 2-3 people, just looks "more popular" XD
 I was going to make a thread for Devin Townsend but I doubt there'd be many people posting there. Glad this is around I stumbled across this topic for Heavy MTL (Montreal) Festival and was surprised at how decent this lineup is!! If I had money to burn, I'd so buy tix and fly out to see this!! It would be my first festival experience  I keep missing big tours because I can never find anyone to go with me.  XD__________________

Speaking of AE, their new one (Khaos Legions) comes out May 1st! Seems like they whipped together the album pretty quick considering they only started recording in December.
 Or maybe not all bands need that long? __________________
