Sadly I don't know, I would imagine it's when they have a new album out, which is I have no idea when I would love to see them again too. If you ever see them, your mind will be blown!
But you can check this out to see if they play sometime near you: Lamb of God - Pure American Metal

I would imagine so! Plus it's a nice broad selection too!

I first got into Metal when I did not even know there were genres in music! I just leaned toward those bands/songs that we now call Metal. I am currently loving the latest Dragonforce CD - yeah I know, cheese-metal. Give it a listen a few times with open ears and open minds it is a great CD. Ask me what other metal I like it is all sorts (but by no means ANYthing metal.) Some metal is bad.

I've been into metal for ages. I'm really into NWOBHM, Power, Death, Thrash, Black, pretty much any kind of metal.

Any news on that Thrash metal tour with Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax and Slayer?

I got into metal through numetal, proceeded onto obsessing with goth/symphonic bands, had an intense death/black/grindcore phase and then discovered a newfound appreciation for power metal (which I still consider cheesy, but, unlike in the past, actually enjoy now). So I guess I'm a... varied metal fan, lol. If I had to chose the ultimate favouite genre it might be thrash.

I didn't think there was a thread like this Glad it exists!!

I haven't been a fan of metal for *that* long, maybe since 2005, but I love allll kinds. Of course there is my love for female fronted metal (yes, a plug ). I know that in itself is NOT a genre, but I'm such a sucker for female vocals. Especially if they're paired with something really aggressive.

My boyfriend got me into everything else I love. I was considering making a thread for Devin Townsend because I think he's just amazing in whatever he does. His new project The Devin Townsend Project has yielded albums very different from what you're probably used to. There are 4 albums in total, I think, and he calls the 3rd one "what he wanted to achieve with Strapping Young Lad" (very bad paraphrase - I don't know the exact quote ) and that makes me SUPER excited. Love love love SYL. Wish I could have seen them live. :/

I love Lamb of God (yay, new album soon!). I just discovered DevilDriver, which I really love so far! I like Pantera, Children of Bodom, Opeth, Sigh, Machine Head.. I like most things, the one thing I cannot get into is power metal. It's just the male vocals that usually go with that.. not my cup of tea.

Anyway, I'm always up for suggestions!! Especially really hard/aggressive stuff. I put that on my "work out" playlist and is the best motivator to go that extra mile.
