Three Degrees of a Female Good Charlotte Fan

Riot Girl: very recent, and very teenie fan; knows only of the The Young and the Hopeless album, but may have an inkling that there is a self-titled one lurking about.
Evil Queen: Knows a little more about the actual band, but can tend to get teenie; at least knows they have two albums.
Gravity Girl: An actual fan; appreciates the boys for their music and their hotness; knows their demos/covers/etc., not just the ones you can buy in a store.

...and as for male GC fans... they just rock like that.

Since the beginning of GC history, there have been people that feel the need to explain that GC aren't punk. To those that see this thread and feel the urge to tell us this... We know. GC knows.

To all the GC fans:

It comes with a heavy heart to tell all those that will listen the following news...

Many of you may already know, our drummer Chris Wilson has been on and off the road due to personal health problems. Unfortunately, his problems continue and we have made a collective decision to have Chris stay around his friends and family and begin to truly rehabilitate. As of the beginning of the Good Charlotte "Noise To The World Tour" with Simple Plan, GC will be playing with Dean Butterworth (who most recently played with Morrissey).

This has not been easy on any of us ...we loved playing with Chris so much.

We hope everyone will be respectful and understand the situation and pray that Chris gets better.

We would also like to say thanks to the fans for all of their support with this, it matters most, now.

It is times like these that we forget all the things we have and all the thing we have done ... And look towards that we have to hope for.

See you on the road.

You know what. I think i might cry a tiny bit. For real. Chris was so awesome. Im gonna miss him.
I shouldnt talk about him like hes dead. So i spose theres one positive thing.. he's still alive

Its weird picturing them without Chris, even if they've been without him for a while. It just doesnt seem complete seeing pictures without him. Everytime i see a picture of the 4 of them, the first thing i usually think of is 'Oh, Chris isnt there'.

See, I guess cuz I'm just used to pictures Pre-Chris, it's not that weird. I still don't like no Chris though.

Yeah, we were used to no drummer pre-Chris so it's not so unusual to see it just the four of them. It has been just the 4 of them before Chris joined (after Dusty finished up as drummer) and for a while even before the official announcement. In the latter part, Chris wasn't in any promo and he wasn't in the We Believe video. It was just a matter of waiting to it to be official because we all knew it was coming.

I'm assuming this is about how he had really bad joints from the constant drumming. And I guess it wasn't easy being away from home all the time, too.

He will be missed, though

Kara, fanfucs came from a typo I made when Meg and I were talking on AIM about twincest fanfics. I accidently typed fanfucs and Meg claimed it was a freudian slip and it actually was fitting to what twincest involved. So, we call twincest fanfics fanfucs because...well, it's kinda obvious

I actually haven't supplied any good fics in a while. there aren't that many good GC fics out there anymore though. There's the twincest, but no more good Joel/Billy, or Benji/Billy....((hehe ninja hamsters. ahhh memories)) out there. That I can find anyway. People are moving on to My Chemical Romance but I still see a lot of Mest fics out there. I guess it depends on the comm your on.

I'll try and be better.

I haven't read any in a looooonnnnngggg time. I think the last one I read was one Meg rec'd sometime last year

I never know where to look! Ninetydegreesleft.com (or something) had the best ones I've read. I don't know if they are still up but last I checked, she didn't update in a long ass time.
