Thankfully, he reformed the band and chose a different sound...influences like Joy Division and U2 and Echo and the Bunnymen. Kinda Departureish but not really because The Departure gets really Morrisey sometimes in their lyrics, but Rock Kills Kid maintains this strange open honesty about it... Best song is definately not "Paralyzed." I really love this song called "Hide Away" because it sounds like a mashup of "Where the Streets Have No Name," "With or Without You," and "City of Blinding Lights." And another good song of theirs is "Run Like Hell", which has nothing to do with Pink Floyd. The chorus to taht song will be stuck in your head for the rest of your life. Midnight is a good song that sorta reminds me of how The Killers would if they weren'r so freaking amazing!!! That is a compliment despite what it sounds like because I hate comparing anything to The Killers.
