Simone's voice sounds a little different, but really beautiful Can't wait for this album.

I don't think it's going to make my top ten Epica songs. I'm trying to decide whether I like this or Unchain Utopia more (a very similar song, let's be honest). UU at least had a grandiose and catchy chorus, while UDS... really doesn't. Not by their standards.

I still have high hopes for the album, though. The title track and Simone's obligatory tear-jerker are what really make or break these things.

Sorry you feel that way, Lori. It's not a chatroom, it's a forum. All forums are slowing down because of social media. It's merely a core group of forum users that remain active. We all live in different time zones (for example, your posts were posted around 4 AM and 8 AM for me), and have different lives. This music forum isn't a very big one to begin with (it's active enough, but not thriving), and it's only a very small group that actually listens to female fronted metal (mostly you, I, Dave and Quin).
That said, the answer 'I agree' isn't really a one that's easily replied to, unless I wanna say something like 'yeah, me too', and for me personally, that's not really the way I like to respond.

But well, a new thread is long overdue, so I'm gonna respond to the Epica song there
