The picture I used in the first post is one of the pictures I took on Monday at the Cincinnati HCT. Here are a few more!

I honestly thought I was going to HATE this tour and was almost dreading this show because I thought it would be so annoying seeing them in an amphitheater setting with so many thousands of bandwagon "fans" who only know the singles. It was amazing though. The GA pit was so small and not really that crowded. There was no pushing and most of the annoying kiddie fans didn't have pit tickets anyway. I just forgot about the thousands of people behind me and minus all the pyro/explosions/fireworks, it almost felt like three years ago. There was recognition by the band, and Pete even jumped down right in front of my friend and me during "Tell That Mick..." Unfortunately, my camera was zoomed in and it was too dark and happened too quickly for me to unzoom and get decent aim, so this is the picture I got...

Oops!

I wanted to take video, as well, but while I was recording during Cobra, a security guy told me I had to stop. Lame! The same guy was near us all night, so I didn't try. I probably could have snuck and gotten away with it, but oh well. It sucks too because I would have gotten kick ass video. What I did get of Cobra is quite awesome.

Anyway, I am hopeful that the pit in Indy is similar to Cincinnati. I'm can't wait to see this tour again. I think I'm also going to go to the first of the three Chicago shows since it's the day after Indy, which is also a Saturday.

Nice Pictures.

I love the pictures.

Awesome pics, Jenn! I'm glad to hear you really enjoyed your show. It seems like they've really gone all out for this tour.

And I think it's somewhat officially confirmed that Hum Hallelujah is the next single, so I've read. Nooo :(

Those are great shots! <3

I actually really like that song. :look:.

Joe's fro!! Hahaha.
Nice pics, Jenn.
I especially love the close up of half of Pete's face

Hum Hallelujah?
Nice.
I didn't really expect it, but... I wonder what the clip'll be like.

I do but i'd get kicked off of the forum.
LOL.

*Juli* 05-26-2007 07:19 AM

That's why I don't want Hum Hallelujah to be released. It's too good to get bastardized on the radio and on tv.

And Kara? You are bad ;)

I am not even kidding! There are no decent words that I have for that girl.

Yeah, that makes sense. I don't listen to the radio a whole lot, just when i'm in the car. It's so different from having This Ain't A Scene, Dance, Dance, and Sugar, We're Goin' Down on the radio.

Jenn23 05-26-2007 11:04 AM

I sing the blues and swallow them too...

I heard a while back that they would never play "Hum Hallelujah" live because it's "too personal" for Pete (the whole Ativan incident and all). However, they are playing it live on the Honda Civic Tour.

Also, according to Pete, they will be shooting TWO new videos soon.

*Juli* 05-26-2007 01:59 PM

Any ideas what the videos are, Jenn?

P.S. All of the bands from the HCT were just on MuchMusic. Only FOB performed, though.

No idea. I hope neither is Hum Hallelujah though. I also want Bang the Doldrums and Don't You Know Who I Think I Am preserved radio hell, please.

Boo. I don't have MuchMusic. They only two bands I really cared to see at HCT were Cobra and FOB. I'm still pissed at The Academy Is... for dicking Tom over and have yet to hear their new album. I wish Cobra and FOB didn't open and close the show. It makes the wait in between way too long. At least I was spared from the torture of Paul Wall by going to say hello to Gabe. Also, I missed half of TAI getting a beer.

:lmao: That was exactly what my friends and I did at the Toronto concert last night. But we made it back in time for TAI.

It was such a good concert.

Yessss.
I don't want Don't You Know Who I Think I Am released either.

How long has the Honda Civic Tour been running?
Someone mentioned it to me the other day, about past years, and I've only ever seen/heard about it for this year.

*Juli* 05-30-2007 09:38 AM

GC were on the HCT about 4 years ago so it has been going on for a while!
