| The Doors Thread #1-Welcome to The Soft Parade I just now noticed that there were no psychedlic-rock band threads. Well, now there is. There has to be at least a few The Doors fans out there. What's Your Favorite Album/Song? Mine: L.A. Woman (Both song and album) Jim Morrison was a genius. | I'm not like a huge OMGzTheDoors!!11one1!!! fan, but I have Greatest Hits CD, and I used to have L.A. Woman but I got rid of it. My favourite songs are Love Me Two Times and Love Her Madly. __________________ even if things end up a bit too heavy | |||

| this thread is really a big suprise! ... Led Zeppelin and The Doors are my one and only favourite bands!!! Favourite song: i don't know... Queen of the Highway, the spy and Love her madly (robbie krieger did it good with this one) Favourite Album: Morrisson Hotel and The Doors (the first one) Lately i've got a thing for the song "You're lost little girl" basically because i love the melody guitar plays and i love Ray keyboards there too. | I love The Doors.... I saw The Doors Of The 21st Century in concert before they had to change their name to Riders On The Storm...it was awesome. My favorite songs are "Hello, I Love You", "Love Her Madly", "Love Me Two Times" and "People Are Strange" My favorite album has to be L.A.Woman __________________ Where do you come from? | Oh wow, a Doors thread? Score! When I first heard the Doors, I thought they were so refreshing because they sound so unlike any other band, old or new. Their songs emanate such a unique and textured feeling that it's hard to not be drawn in by them. I feel like I can taste their music, they're so limitless. I don't have a particular favorite album, but I really really love The Crystal Ship, End of the Night and Riders on the Storm. __________________ -Dayana just because i couldn't say it doesn't make me a liar | |||

| Crystal ships is a great song... Have you heard the cover Ray Manzarek made with a band in the soundtrack of The x-files? i was very surprised.... The song loses part of its power but it's still good to listen to it. | |||

| I'm a huge fan of The Doors as well! This summer I went to Paris with a friend and I finally visited Jim's grave. I was kind of disappointed because they placed another tomb (pretty big too!) almost right in front of his...
