| Depeche Mode #1 ~ Songs of faith and devotion Hello, My name is Luke and one of my favorite bands is Depeche Mode. Few days ago, I submitted a request for a DM board and I want to know if there are DM fans here at FF!  According to the official German Depeche Mode page www.depechemode.de Depeche Mode have completed their first recording session. According to the site Depeche Mode will be back in the studio for the next session in April. In the period in-between Dave Gahan and Martin L. Gore will write more songs. After a third and final recording session planed this summer, the album is likely to be released around October - November followed by a tour. If you like Depeche Mode please come here and post. | DM is one of my top fav bands period. Martin is one of the best song writers around. I still think they lack the guidence of Alan. I still miss him in the band. __________________ About as subtle as an earthquake, I know, My mistakes were made for you.  Carlos | |||

| Alan left cuz there was too much drama, especially Dave being a drug addict at that time. But yeah his band isn't ging anywhere. I wish he would go back to DM. One of the best concerts I ever been to was the Depeche Mode 101 tour. Pasadena baby!! What is your fav DM album? yeah am excited about teh new album. | Pasadena!!! Man, you are SO lucky! History was written there! One of the best concerts for me was Devotional tour, in Paris! I also heard that Alan left the band because Martin was (and still is) pretty possessive with what is released on the albums! The man has his vision!  Last year when Dave released a solo album (and also Martin) I thought they will break up! I was so relieved when I heard they are back in studio! My favorite album: Violator! (sorry, old school )What are your favorite songs? | |||

| I only have the one album (Violator) but I think it's magnificent. And! Blasphemous Rumours is an amazing song. Carlos, I agree, Just Can't Get Enough definitely makes me wanna dance. In fact, whenever I hear it, I usually do. __________________ | |||
