Two of tonight's CMA awards were decided earlier today.
Event of the Year-"Old Town Road" Video Of The Year-"Rainbow" God bless you always!!! Holly P.S. The rest are handed out tonight starting at 8PM EST on ABC. __________________

When the opening performance was happening, all that I could think about were the many who were not up there:
Alison Krauss LeAnn Rimes Lorrie Morgan Pam Tillis Wynonna Judd Jo Dee Messina (How is she doing these days considering her being hit with cancer?) Patty Loveless Lee Ann Womack Carlene Carter Roseanne Cash Taylor Swift Shania Twain Faith Hill Chely Wright Suzy Bogguss Kimberly Perry of The Band Perry (What have they been doing the past couple of years?) Mary-Chapin Carpenter Carolyn Dawn Johnson (Where is she these days? Her few big songs are good!) Michelle Wright (Remember her song named “Take It Like A Man”?) Heidi Newfield of the Trick Pony trio SheDaisy (another butt kicking trio) God bless you and those who were over looked always!!! Holly (a day one fan of LeAnn and a fan of Alison for 25 years now) P.S. To me, Cam, Jana Kramer, and Lauren Alaina are the best of the newer female singers. __________________

Earlier today, Rascal Flatts announced that the tour that they do this year will be their farewell tour after being on the radio for the past 20 years now. Go here for the news clip and their tour dates.
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/rascal-...inkId=80217801 I was able to see them back in 2003 when they opened for Kenny Chesney during his Neyland Stadium show in Knoxville, TN. They were awesome. My most favorite song from them is “While You Loved Me”. God bless you and the guys and Kenny always!!! Holly P.S. Am I the only person here who realizes that they never once were given a Grammy award? “Bless The Broken Road” was named Best Country Song, but that award never goes to the singer. The guys were able score four nominations in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category, but currently that may be as far as their Grammy road has taken them. __________________
