Hey everyone! Our last Corrs thread was a victim of the site crash, so I'm re-starting the thread.

In new news, Sharon gave birth to a baby boy on 31 March (a day after her birthday!) and Jim's fiancee is due anytime!

Andrea album news! By Hayley Carlin - 30th June 2006 Later this year Atlantic Records will release "Present", the first solo album by Andrea Corr. All The Way Home producers, Stylorouge, have been commissioned to produce a promotional film to accompany the release of the album which will intersperse Andrea's observations on the making of the album with live performances of some of the key tracks, just on voice and piano. The album has been produced by Nellee Hooper, whose work includes classic tracks for Bjork, Soul ll Soul and U2. Source: Stylorouge

That's the era where they balanced Irish roots and pop sensibilities perfectly. Practically all my fave Corrs songs are in there too

Talk On Corners as well, I love all the songs lyrics, and besides I think it's fantastic how they managd to add some Irish instruments in every single song

Some news...

Andrea's album likely delayed By Daniel Lindberg - 23rd August 2006 Due to total lack of official news from the record company about Andrea's upcoming solo debut, currently going under the name "Present", it is fair to suspect that the album is being delayed and not released this autumn after all. According to the head of press at RNP, the out of house press group for Andrea at Atlantic UK, the album is not on his schedule for the rest of the year. According to him it is therefore likely being released in beginning of next year. This information is further supported by the media company Stylorouge who is in charge of the EPK (Electronic Press Kit), and claim that they still have not recieved any deadline or release date from Atlantic. No way! That sucks I want that new album so badly!

Me too, I hope her album isn't delayed too long! I was watchiong Unplugged the other day and Andrea's just a dynamite vocalist all the Corrs siblings have nice voices (especially appreciated Caroline more after the rewatching) but it's apparent why Andrea was thrust into the lead vocalist spot, that stage presence is killer and you know she loves it when the audience is right at the palm of her hand

Sometimes, Andrea gives off this "Yeah, all the Corrs girls are pretty attractive but you betcha I'm the hottest!" vibe In a playful way of course, not saying she doesn't think highly of all her sibs Ah, the Corrs girls... Beautiful, talented and the boon and bane of Jim's existence lol!
